‘2 Days 1 Night’ Star Jung Joon Young Unveils Violent Side, Reveals 2018 FIFA World Cup Disappointment

Many sports fans around the world have experienced their share of the 2018 FIFA World Cup fever given the ongoing matches between global teams. Recently, 2 Days 1 Night cast member Jung Joon Young admitted to becoming violent after watching some of the games.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup fever has Jung Joon Young in a heightened state of disappointment following the recent loss of South Korea against Sweden. The 2 Days 1 Night cast member commented that he became furious with the results of the game and nearly injured himself.

Jung Joon Young made the revelation during a guest DJ stint at KBS Cool FM's Park Myung Soo's Radio Show that aired on June 19. Given the way that the singer yelled out his excitement and frustration during South Korea's first 2018 FIFA World Cup game, the former Superstar K4 finalist shared that he almost lost his voice.

The 2 Days 1 Night star also confessed that the video assistant referee (VAR) penalty issued during the South Korea-Sweden game angered him. Held on June 18, Sweden took advantage of the VAR penalty kick awarded to the team that ultimately helped them win the match.

Jung Joon Young stated that he hit his bed with his fist several times after the watching the South Korea-Sweden match. Despite the said Asian country losing its first 2018 FIFA World Cup game, the 2 Days 1 Night cast is optimistic that South Korea will win its upcoming match against Mexico.

Meanwhile, the K-pop singer assumed an important role in the recent episodes of 2 Days 1 Night. Jung Joon Young became a director and helped the KBS variety show's staff members to plan interesting challenges for fellow cast members Kim Joon Ho, Cha Tae Hyun, Defconn, Kim Jong Min and Yoon Shi Yoon.

Apart from the special guest appearance of Surplus Princess actress Jo Bo Ah, the 2 Days 1 Night star also invited the girl group MOMOLAND to the show. The final part of the Jung Joon Young PD Maknae Tour was released on KBS on June 17.
