'Outlander' Season 4 Spoilers: Sam Heughan Reveals How 'Wicked' Ed Speleers' Character As New Villain; Cast To Grace Denver Comic-Con

Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, and other stars are now busy promoting the upcoming Outlander Season 4. In fact, the cast members are now gearing up for the fast-approaching 2018 Denver Comic-Con, while the Starz series' 38-year-old lead actor recently graced a convention in Italy.

According to CarterMatt, Sam Heughan talked about Ed Speleers' coming to Outlander Season 4 as the new villain, Steven Bonnet. As the show's home network, Starz, has yet to reveal some details about the 30-year-old star's character, Caitriona Balfe's on-screen partner gladly spilled some things about it.

In Outlander Season 4, fans will see a wicked Ed Speleers as he plays his role as Steven Bonnet. Hence, Sam Heughan revealed that he is about to bring something different to the show, which is based on the fourth book of Diana Gabaldon's novel series, Drums of Autumn.

Sam Heughan also teased that Steven Bonnet has an "interesting story" in Outlander Season 4. At first, fans will see his character as a charming guy. He will be befriending Jamie (Heughan) in the first few episodes. However, as the story goes on, Jamie will soon realize that he is not what he thinks he is. Bonnet is said to be a schemer who is the one behind the horrible happenings in the upcoming new season.

Meanwhile, as part of the upcoming Outlander Season 4, an Outlandish Outlander Fan Panel is about to happen at the upcoming 2018 Denver Comic-Con. This is going to be held starting on June 15 at around 6 p.m. local time in Room 404, Three If By Space reported. A Dream of Outlander's  Desirre Andrews, Outlander Medicine's Karen Daugherty, and Outlander Behind the Scenes' Courtney Williams will lead the said event.

As teased by Desirre Andrews, the first 100 fans, who are waiting for Outlander Season 4 and will attend the 2018 Denver Comic-Con, will be given with an Outlander TV tie-in book. Also, there will be a special prize for the cosplay contest winner, a question and answer discussion, and some opportunities for the audience to participate.

After that, there will be an After Panel Gathering at the Hyatt Regency at 7:30 p.m. Fans will enjoy free appetizers and drinks. Also, there will be a screening of the Outlander Season 4 cast here that will be interviewed by Courtney Williams. The 2018 Denver Comic-Con will run from June 15 to 17. Other guests are Graham McTavish, Lotte Verbeek, and more.
