Dispatch released a series of snaps of the Song-Song couple in Tokyo, and a friend of the pair revealed that it was during this date that the Descendants Of The Sun actor professed his love for his leading lady. Dispatch then explained the reason why they chose to not release the photos of the popular couple at the time.
“At Dispatch, we were sure the two of them were dating. We even saw them on a date but we didn’t write an article, we were aiming to prove that they were planning to get married [first],” the site explained. “If they were simply dating a few pictures would have sufficed, but marriage is different. A lot of variables could have [affected] it, so we had to be careful.”
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo finally put an end to all the dating rumors when they publicly confirmed their romance. However, the Song-Song couple didn’t just shock everyone with their confirmation, but they also revealed that they were engaged and set to marry. The Descendants Of The Sun stars tied the knot on October 31, 2017.
Even though they have finally made their relationship public, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo remained as private as possible. In fact, despite the actress’ very active Instagram account, her husband is noticeably absent from her posts.
