'What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?' Stars Park Seo Joon, Park Min Young Confirm 'Great Chemistry' In Upcoming Romance Comedy

It looks like Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young were destined to work together. The former Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth actor has just admitted he had wanted a chance to work with his What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? co-star since he first saw her in Unstoppable High Kick! while he was still in the army. In response, the City Hunter actress confessed that she has always wondered what it would be like to be in a romantic comedy with the Fight For My Way star.

Fans have been waiting for the premiere of What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? since it was confirmed that Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young would be the lead stars in the new tvN series. Although some were hoping that the Busted! actress would initially reunite with City Hunter co-star Lee Min Ho in a new project, people were delighted that her new show will pair her up with the Midnight Runners actor. Interestingly, Seo Joon revealed that he had been interested in working with Min Young even before he joined the entertainment industry.

Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young recently promoted What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? in a press conference for the upcoming show. According to Soompi, the Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth actor shared that he had been a huge fan of his co-star because his superior officer in the army always watched Unstoppable High Kick! reruns. Seo Joon said he always wanted to work with Min Young and is happy that she was cast in the new romantic comedy with him. The Fight For My Way star also stated that their director claims that he and Min Young "have a great chemistry" which motivates him "to work harder."

Park Min Young also made it clear that she was eager to work with Park Seo Joon right from the start and is glad that they have met through What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? earlier this year.

"He’s a considerate person and a very talented actor who is able to perfectly embody his character and knows exactly what he needs to emphasize to bring his roles to life," the City Hunter actress said of her new co-star.

She then added that she is now aware of why Seo Joon is considered "an expert in romantic comedies."

Fans can watch their chemistry unfold when What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? premieres on tvN on June 6.
