The worldwide popular video streaming website YouTube announced its newest application specifically designed for its music fans. It is called YouTube Music, a mobile application that promises to deliver the best music videos that will suit the users' personal tastes, according to CNET.

The all-new YouTube Music app was released on Thursday, Nov. 12, a month after YouTube released its paid subscription service called Red. It has been speculated that this application has similar format to YouTube Music Key, which is another application under development process and was announced last year, but was never released for undisclosed reasons.

However, unlike Red, which is only accessible to paying subscribers, the YouTube Music app can be used freely by non-paying users, though it will be run with ads to continue being used without pay. The application is available for both Android and iOS devices, and users can enjoy a 14-day free trial of YouTube Red with all the paid features unlocked per download of YouTube Music.

With the release of YouTube's exclusive music application, it has been speculated to beat the likes of other music-streaming services such as Spotify, Pandora, and the recently launched Apple Music, which is now available for Android users as well as we have previously reported.

The advantage of YouTube over the mentioned streaming applications is that users can actually see videos as music is played. According to Alexandra Keating, CEO of DWNLD.me, Google could be more aggressive when it comes to making their users pay for subscriptions, according to Stuff.

Keating noted that the company could lower the quality of the video, make it an arduous ad experience and "annoy the user so much people will want to pay for it." Still, some critics are skeptical to see if the accompanying monthly subscription fee will be worth it.

With the all-new YouTube Music, users can listen to their favorite songs even when they're not connected to the Internet and even if they are on places outside strong network connection.
