‘One Piece’ Episode 838 Spoilers: Bege Unleashes Poison-tipped KX Launchers

Previously, the 5-year-old Linlin wreaked havoc on Elbaph when she lost her mind after fasting for too long. With the village burning, One Piece Episode 837 revealed that Mother Carmel actually had the power to give consciousness to inanimate things, the same power that the current Linlin now possesses. Carmel saved the village by transforming the raging fire into a cute little sun. While she called it Pandora, most fans would probably agree that it looks like Prometheus.
In addition, One Piece Episode 837 also revealed why all giants hate Big Mom. During Linlin's rampage, the giant co-captain Jorul tried to kill the uncontrollable Linlin. However, the child merely blocked his sword strike with her bare hands which broke the sword. In addition, Jorul was fatally injured when Linlin displayed her unexpected strength by pulling on his beard and slamming him to the ground. While the giants spared Linlin's life, they banished her along with Carmel's orphanage from Elbaph.
Lastly, One Piece Episode 837 explained why Big Mom was affected by the breaking up of Mother Carmel's picture. Linlin, who viewed Carmel as her family, still can't get over that day when Carmel and the other children suddenly left her during her birthday celebration. Unknown to her, it was actually her who ate everyone under the maddening influence of the delicious semla croquembouche. One can also speculate that the reason Big Mom is able to display powers similar to Carmel is because she ate her.
