In addition, Haise's hair gets darker this episode, which hints at the changes happening inside Sasaki.

Fans can expect a new arc coming up in Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 8. According to spoilers from TheAnimeScrolls, the Rose Extermination Arc will commence in the next installment of the anime series.
In the Tokyo Ghoul:re manga series, the Rose Extermination Arc is actually also known as Tsukiyama Extermination Operation Arc. In the manga, the arc spans 28 chapters starting from Chapter 32 until Chapter 59. In the anime, however, Otakukart predicts that it may only span four episodes and that the arc's conclusion will also coincide with the mid-season finale.
As suggested by the arc's name, the plot will focus on the members of the wealthy Tsukiyama family. Apparently, the Tsukiyama family will attract the attention of the Commission of Counter Ghoul (CCG), which will then dispatch some of its strongest members to deal with them.
The Tsukiyama family is a family of upper-class ghouls with a lot of business interests. Due to their wealth, the family has a lot of resources at its disposal, which makes dealing with them a bit of a challenge even for a powerful organization such as CCG.
The Rose Extermination Arc will also introduce Shuu Tsukiyama who may already be featured in the coming Tokyo Ghoul:re Episode 8. In addition, the arc will introduce the ghoul terrorist organization Agori tree and its founder Eto Yoshimura.
