WARNING: Hawaii Five-0 Season 9 spoilers and predictions ahead!

Going into Hawaii Five-0 Season 9, it seems that the fate of Adam is still not getting any better. Although an incredible twist is expected, which the series is known for, there is still a significant chance that the character will be sent back to prison. Is this a result of Ian Anthony Dale’s busy schedule? But what if Adam was framed?

Adam Noshimuri (Ian Anthony Dale) has a tough background. He is the son of Hiro Noshimuri, former leader of the Japanese Yakuza and the former heir of Yakuza. The Hawaii Five-0 Season 2 finale then revealed that Adam and Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park) were dating. Despite wanting to change his luck, his father’s criminal past caught up to him and was eventually imprisoned.

With Ian Anthony Dale’s character having so many flaws, he quickly became one of the fan favorites. So when Adam was seemingly framed for the death of his half-sister, viewers feared that he will be sent back to prison and will not be a part of Hawaii Five-0 Season 9.

However, CarterMatt noted that it is quite unimaginable for Adam to be so careless in leading all the pieces of evidence back to him. With Ian Anthony Dale’s character being so smart and surrounded by criminals his entire life, it’s hard to believe that he would leave the gun in his own house for all the authorities to see.

With this in mind, it could be very possible that Adam was framed for his half-sister’s death. If this is the case, then Ian Anthony Dale’s character’s story is expected to continue in Hawaii Five-0 Season 9.

However, if Adam is indeed guilty, he could be thrown in prison for a long time, or even spend the rest of his life behind bars. Was this part strategically written so Ian Anthony Dale could focus on his other show, Salvation? Although it makes sense, this speculation has yet to be verified.

Guilty or not, one thing is for sure—Adam’s story captured a lot of hearts, and many believed that the character still has a lot to offer on the show. While his return is not 100 percent confirmed as of this writing, him being a part of Hawaii Five-0 Season 9 is still very possible.
