Avid followers of Michael Schumacher are still unaware of his current health condition. Details about the Formula 1 legend's state has become scarce since his loved ones decided to keep everything as private as possible. Now, despite the previous claims that the German racing driver is already getting better, recent reports suggest that he is still bedridden.

Most fans are aware that December 29, 2013, is the worst day for Michael Schumacher and his supporters. It was on that day when the Formula 1 legend hit his head on a rock while skiing in the French Alps. The tragic accident effortlessly sent the veteran German racer into a coma, Korea Portal previously reported.

In 2015, Bunte Magazine claimed that Michael Schumacher was able to walk with the help of his therapists. The German publication reported the claim two years after the Formula 1 legend was put into a coma. However, the German racer's family lawyer Felix Damm vehemently denied the baseless report.

As per Mirror UK, the magazine stated a close pal of Michael Schumacher revealed to the publication that the Formula 1 legend managed to take a few steps and was able to raise his arms. The unnamed source, reportedly, told Bunte that the German racer looked "very thin" at the time. While the news was good music to Schumi's devoted supporters, a Hamburg court found out that the statement was not true at all.

As a matter of fact, Presiding judge Simone Kafer ordered Bunte to pay a total of €50,000 following the publication of the fake claims. In November 2016, Formula One Managing Director of Motorsports and technical director Ross Brawn revealed that Michael Schumacher showed "encouraging" signs of recovery despite his very difficult situation. The 63-year-old motorsport enthusiast, however, said he could not reveal much information since Schumi's family want to protect their privacy.

Meanwhile, Sabine Kehm has put Michael Schumacher into the headlines again when she spoke about the Formula 1 legend during the eve of the 2018 F1 Season. Schumi's manager said that the family really appreciates fans' empathy. She added that the German racer's loved ones want to keep details about his current health state in private and they are glad that Michael's supporters understand their decision.

It was previously revealed that Michael Schumacher was transferred to his home near Lake Geneva after he underwent two life-saving operations at Grenoble Hospital and rehabilitation at Lausanne's University Hospital. It was said that his family built a medical facility in his Swiss property for his medications. Costing a total of £115,000 per week, the Formula 1 legend is, reportedly, being taken care of by a 15-member medical team.
