Several fans around the world are still clueless about the latest health status of Michael Schumacher. The Formula 1 legend has been bedridden for four years already since he hit his head on a rock in French Alps in Dec. 29, 2013. Though devoted supporters of the German racer have been demanding for updates, his family has remained silent up to this writing.

There are a lot of rumors hounding the health of Michael Schumacher. While some suggest that the Formula 1 legend is slowly recovering from his fatal head injuries, a few also claim that there is only a slim chance for Schumi to get back to health. However, a top neurologist has denied these claims and stated that there is still hope for the German racer, The Inquisitr reported.

Professor Mark Obermann cited a study about people who were on the vegetative state like Michael Schumacher. He said that a Swedish research found that less than half of the patients in the vegetative state were able to recuperate.  The director of the Centre for Neurology at the Asklepios, Seesen claimed that the patients have become conscious again within four years of unending therapy and treatments.

"Many can come back to life and see how their children and grandchildren grow up, what plans they have or what else happens in the family or in the circle of friends."

Last year, there were reports saying that Michael Schumacher was able to walk and talk again with the help of his physicians and nurses. However, Primadonna was quick to deny the reports. A certain Attorney Felix Damm said that the said claims were fabricated.

As a matter of fact, the family of Michael Schumacher has sued Bunte Magazine for spreading such "irresponsible" report. The publication was, reportedly, asked to pay 50,000 euros for publishing the fake story. The Telegraph reported that the Formula 1 legend could not even stand without the help of his therapists.

The Formula 1 legend's family has yet to comment on the claims saying that Schumi could still recover after his fatal crash four years ago. Stay tuned for the latest news and updates about Michael Schumacher!
