'NCIS' Season 15 Spoilers & Update: Show Pays Tribute To Abby Sciuto, Fans Will Miss Caf-Pow & Gibbs-Abby Special Moments The Most

It was a double whammy for NCIS fans. The CBS longest-running procedural series bids its goodbye to Abby Scuito and Clayton Reeves in the NCIS Season 15 Episode 22, titled "One Step Forward." It was a very emotional episode as Pauley Perrette earlier warned a lot of Kleenex would be used up.

Prior to the recent episode, NCIS paid tribute to one of the series' original cast members, NCIS forensic expert Abby Sciuto (Perrette). The show shared several photos of Abby on its official Twitter account, showcasing the character's eccentricity and positive attitude that fans grew to love throughout the years.

In one of the posts, NCIS asked its fans to share what they will you remember the most about the character. Netizens have expressed their grief over not seeing Abby again after more than 350 episodes of watching her.

Many said they will always remember everything about the character, especially her generosity, kindness, dedication to her work, and unwavering loyalty to her team. Some also mentioned what makes Abby different from any other TV series characters include the things in her lab and the acts she loves to do. Some talked about Abby's Mass Spectrometer and Bert the Hippo at her lab, her coffin bed, and her cute Halloween costumes.

But, the most notable of all the things that fans will miss about Abby is her ever dependable Caf-Pow caffeinated drink and her adorable moments with Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon). For many NCIS viewers, the familiar fixture in Abby's hands while she is doing her magic in the lab is what makes the character unique; this is aside from her goth look and tattoos. NCIS viewers are so familiar seeing a new character in the show bribing Abby with a Caf-Pow to win her trust or Gibbs bringing in Abby's energy-boosting drink.

Many netizens also commented that they would definitely miss the Gibbs- Abby's moments in her lab or anywhere else. The famous "Gibbs Gibbs Gibbs" line of Abby whenever she ecstatically calls out the NCIS senior agent is something that many fans would dearly miss as well.

"Abby made this a true family show. I am 70 years old and watch this show faithfully to see Abby and Gibbs. Don't get me wrong I love the show in general but their chemistry is my joy!," an elderly fan commented on the NCIS post.

"My favorite thing is when Gibbs gives Abby a kiss on the cheek after she does something spectacular and Abby is sooo pleased," another NCIS viewer wrote.

In her last episode, Abby feels guilty that Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry) died when a hitman tried to kill her. In the end, Abby decided to travel to London to make arrangements for Reeves' funeral. She also told her team that she will be staying in the U.K. to create a charity to honor Reeves' mother, as the MI6 agent always wanted to do.

The first NCIS episode without Abby will air on May 15 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Meanwhile, the NCIS Season 15 finale will air on May 22.
