Game Of The Year 2015 Dubbed As ‘The Witcher 3;' Game Awards To Air Next Month!
The Game of the Year 2015 award might go to "The Witcher 3" this year in the Game Awards 2015, according to Gamespot.
The Game Awards is an annual video game award show. This event honors select titles that were released throughout the year. This is the second Game Awards show since the first one was done last year in Dec. 5. This time around the show will showcase many games that had the best praise all throughout this year, 2015.
There are several games that were nominated for the Game of the Year award for this year. "The Witcher 3" has earned the nomination for Game of the Year award and also several other awards. The game has nominations for Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, Best Score/Soundtrack, Best Role-Playing Game and Best Performance.
On the other hand, CD Projekt Red was nominated for Developer of the Year, according to sources.
A recent game entry for this year, "Fallout 4" has been included in the nominations for Game of the Year category. The game also has nominations for three awards. Bethesda is also nominated for Developer of the year, according to VG247.
There are other nominees for the Game of the Year 2015 category including "Bloodborne," "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," and "Super Mario Maker."
These games were selected from a panel of judges from 32 international publications, according to Polygon. To be nominated, a game should have a commercial release date on or before Nov. 24.
The Game Awards 2015 will be on Dec. 3 and will air at 9 p.m. ET. The show will be aired live from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. The show will be livestreamed on different internet streaming platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Steam and many more.
