Ahn Young Mi of South Korea Says Wants To Perform 'Boob Dance' In North Korea If They Unify
It seems Koreans have more than one thing to look forward to regarding the peace treaty between North Korea and South Korea. One South Korean comedian named Ahn Young Mi has promised that she will perform one of her signature dances should both Koreas unify in addition to a peace treaty.
This said dance is none other than Ahn Young Mi's "boob dance" which is basically a comedic dance move involving her chest. More than that, Ahn Young Mi also wants to perform her said signature dance in North Korea itself, meaning her audience will most likely consist of North Koreans.
Ahn Young Mi revealed this during the airing of SBS Love FM's "Song Eun Yi and Kim Sook's Unnies Radio" back on May 1. The DJ's of the station also claimed that they were planning on holding a show in North Korea in lieu of the peace treaty. Ahn Young Mi was then asked what she wanted to perform should the two Koreas unify and she said she would do her signature boob dance in North Korean grounds.
Afterward, Ahn Young Mi even joked about her chest and likened them to two machine guns in the South, which she said in a North Korean dialect.
Of course, this is all assuming that the two Koreas unify under one banner and sovereign, which is highly unlikely given that the peace process between the two has not been finalized yet. It also could take a very long while before the two are ready to unify because of the vast difference in culture and preference.
Though there might be a big chance that Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, will take a liking to Ahn Young Mi's humor and performance. Recently, back on the first week of April, there was a cultural exchange in the socialist country where Kpop stars from the South performed in the North.
Kim Jong Un was then seen clapping his hands at their performance, leading many to assume that he liked it and further cultural exchanges involving Kpop might be more welcome than other people think. For now, Ahn Young Mi will probably have to keep practicing her boob dance in preparation.
