An updated, revamped and rebranded "Archie" comics' app with new Riverdale titles of "Archie" and "Jughead" available for iOS devices.

The "Archie" digital comics' app is ready to download for Apple devices effective on Nov. 12 and will soon be available for android devices, too. The app joins both options of "pay-per-comic" type and unlimited reading for the readers.

The "Archie" comic app is created in collaboration with Madefire, a technological company that specializes in digital comics business. It will highlight all "Archie" top-selling titles, exclusive digital content and graphic novels, according to Comicbook.com.

Ron Perazza, the company's SVP of Digital stated, "The new 'Archie' Comics app consolidates all of our various, disparate offerings into one, seamless experience," as reported by Tech Times. "Traditional 'Archie,' 'New Riverdale,' 'Archie Horror,' 'Sonic,' 'Mega Man,' and 'Dark Circle' are all in one app now," he added.

The "Dark Circle" comic has a mature content that will require an adult to make the purchase transaction successful, according to Bleeding Cool.

The company's CEO, Jon Goldwater shared, "A lot of people forget we were the first comic book company to go day and date with our books - meaning we provided the titles to comic shops, bookstores and digital simultaneously." For him, it's a proof that "Archie" always indulged into digital medium first before their competitors did, according to Tech Times.

Madefire's CEO, Ben Wolstenholme is proud to be a part of the app's development. "Having a direct distribution to their fans is vital for Archie to build on their loyal community," according to the official Archie website.

"Using our Motion Book Publisher platform, Archie has control of their apps, storefront, and digital comic formats from PDF to fully immersive Motion Books, as well as a flexible model for pricing. It's a new era for Archie," he added.
