'The Legend Of Zelda' Wii U Version Still Coming Next Year?; Nintendo Shows Direct Footage
"The Legend of Zelda" Wii U version is still coming in 2016 as mentioned in the game publisher presentation, according to Game Rant.
Back in 2013, Nintendo showed a Nintendo Direct video stream where "The Legend of Zelda" for the latest Nintendo console, Wii U, was first announced. Producer Eiji Aonuma said that they would challenge some of the game franchise's usual gameplay to make it more unique.
It was also announced that it was supposed to be released in 2015. After a few months on 2015, it was announced that there will be a delay of the release so that they can improve the game.
Today at the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, the game publisher has confirmed that the game will still push through next year. There are no other details that were announced during the presentation, according to Attack of the Fanboy.
The footage of the upcoming gaming for the next year only had 13 seconds. It showed Link riding Epona through a field, according to Eurogamer.net. It has shown the improvements of the game graphically, and how smoothly it runs while being shown. The footage shows that Link was riding Epona through a grassy hill area and then it comes to a full stop.
In addition, the footage does not show what the gamers will be expecting in the future for the story, but it does have some nice views and the colors are bright.
Game Rant speculates that the new "Zelda" game will have a cross platform release for Nintendo which might be going both to the Wii U and the upcoming NX. There is still no news if NX will be released by the end of 2016 though.
"The Legend of Zelda" Wii U might get a release date this coming E3 2016. Nintendo loves to keep the fans guessing and waiting for what is going to happen next, sources stated.
