Suri Cruise Desperately Misses Father Tom Cruise

Suri Cruise still has high hopes that she will have a normal father-and-daughter relationship with movie star Tom Cruise despite the strict rules of his religion Scientology. According to reports, the "The Mummy" actor has not seen his daughter in a really long time. 

The life of the 11-year-old is quite unique: both parents are movie stars and she grew up in an environment where she is always followed by the paparazzi. Moreover, her father Tom Cruise is not only one of the most popular celebrities from Hollywood; he is also a staunch follower of Scientology. 

Suri Cruise and mom Katie Holmes have disengaged themselves from Scientology when she split with Tom Cruise last year. However, this action means that the young woman might not be able to see and spend time with her father as often. 

The Church of Scientology is notorious for separating families. A policy called "Disconnection," a form of shunning is practiced when a friend or a family member feel antagonistic toward the religion. 

Of course, no one knows the arrangement between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes with regards to caring for Suri Cruise. However, a report by Inquisitr claims that, according to an insider, the young woman is desperately missing her father. 

During a phone call, Suri Cruise asked her dad: "When can I see you?" The insider also revealed that Tom Cruise might have had a "change of heart" and will ask the Church of Scientology to let him see his daughter soon. 

Star Magazine (via The Hollywood Gossip) even claims that Suri Cruise has not seen Tom Cruise in 1,487 days or around four years! Despite her father's excuses that he is just busy with a myriad of new movies to film, the young fashionista is just not buying it and demands to see him as soon as possible. 

However, neither Tom Cruise nor Katie Holmes has confirmed the report. It is best to take it with a grain of salt.
