Black Pink Stuns in the Cover of 'GQ Japan' December Issue

"GQ Japan" just gave a glimpse of their December issue with the theme of "Idols of This Age" featuring girl group Black Pink on the cover. They are the first female artists ever to grace the cover of the best international men's magazine.

According to All K-Pop, this is not the first time the K-Pop group graces a cover of a magazine. In fact, All K-Pop said that Black Pink was on the cover of Numero Tokyo's latest November issue. This move is also done to celebrate their big Japanese debut back in August.

Meanwhile, Black Pink continues to demonstrate their growing popularity through their second 2 million likes on an MV with "Boombayah", which is their debut track released on August 8, 2016. Soompi adds that Black Pink has now four MVs that have 100 million views, an impressive achievement within a year of signing to YG Entertainment.

The first time they had that huge number of likes is with their recent hit "As If It's Your Last", which is also the fastest K-Pop group MV to hit 100 million views and the most views in 24 hours for a K-Pop MV in history. Black Pink still remains to be the one and only K-Pop girl group to ever accomplish this feat in just 46 days. The previous record belonged to TWICE's "TT" MV, which reached the milestone in 71 days. Their other MVs to hit 100 million views on YouTube are "Playing with Fire" and "Whistle".

Their songs also landed on the Billboard World Digital Sales Chart. "We're really shocked because we actually haven't been to or properly introduced ourselves to people in the States," vocalist Rose told Billboard.
