BTS to Have Own Music Show
Good news to ARMY fans! BTS is about to have its own show. The popular South Korean boy band has teamed up with Mnet to bring more entertainment to its fans.
Mnet has just created an exclusive program for BTS. The channel's forthcoming program is a music show. The network has not come up with an official title yet. But, they are considering the title, "BTS Countdown."
As the name suggests, BTS, of course, will perform their songs. Sounds familiar? According to Soompi, Mnet's new program is based on one of its shows, "M! Countdown." However, the group's upcoming program will be a bit more different from "M! Countdown."
In "M! Countdown," the groups usually perform live. But in BTS' new show, the boys' performances are already pre-recorded. In fact, the group is reported to have finished its recording last week. Additionally, BTS' new show will feature talk sessions - just like what they did on their comeback show.
In other words, Mnet's new program is going to be a combination of "M! Countdown" and "BTS Comeback Special." This means fans will get to have more glimpses into their idols' lives. Moreover, the ARMY fans might be wondering now as to when BTS' new show will hit the screen.
Well, Mnet will probably launch it in October. However, the exact date of the premiere remains under wraps. The official title of the show is yet to be announced as well.
BTS is taking over the music industry by storm. It has just been a few weeks since the group launched its latest album, "Love Yourself: Her" and the music video for its title track, "DNA." Even so, the group has already made a huge success. Because of that, it is not quite a surprise that some networks want to tap into the South Korean boy band's success.
