‘Rainbow Six Siege’ PC Requirements Revealed; Release Date Announced!

Game Maker Ubisoft Holds Press Event During Annual E3 Conference

The "Rainbow Six Siege" PC requirements have been revealed by the game publisher, according to PC Gamer.

Earlier this month, Ubisoft, the game publisher, announced its plans for "Rainbow Six Siege's DLC plans. The DLC contains free maps and modes for the tactical multiplayer shooter, developed after a year. There are also additions of new operatives and weapon skins that can be purchased with in-game money or by microtransactions.

Ubisoft has now announced the PC requirements for the game that will let a gamer know what kind of hardware will be needed, according to sources.

The minimum requirements for the game are as follows. For the OS, the game supports Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 and all should be 64bit versions. The processor should be at least an Intel Core i3 560 with 3.3 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 with 3.0 GHz, according to International Business Times.

In addition, the RAM should be at least 6GB. The video card should be at least an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or an AMD Radeon HD 5870. A gamer should have 30GB or more space for the hard drive and for the multiplayer, it needs a broadband connection with 256kbps, according to Eurogamer.net.

The higher the hardware a gamer has, the better the game will play on their PC set up.

There is also a note that laptop models that have the same or equivalent hardware may work but they are not supported. There might be additional drivers that will be released in the future, according to sources.

While the "Rainbow Six Siege" PC requirements have been released, the game's release date which is on Dec. 1 will still push through. It will launch on the new generation consoles which are the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and also on the PC.
