BTS Unveils New Slogan 'Beyond The Scene' And Logos Including One For ARMY Fandom
Today’s rising Korean pop star, BTS has recently revealed a special announcement with regards to their brand identity. Big Hit Entertainment unveiled a new name and logo for the said group.
On July 4, Big Hit Entertainment unexpectedly dropped a surprise announcement through their official YouTube channel. The said announcement was a video unveiling two new logos for BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, and for their fandom ARMY. The two logos are similar and seem to look like a set, hinting further how much the fans meant to the said boy group.
It was explained that the logos for BTS and ARMY are connected since it means the group and its fans will always meet at the doors. The designs of the logos actually represent open doors that the members will walk through from the present to the better future. Big Hit Entertainment also elaborated that the new logos were designed by keeping in mind the combined futuristic concepts of BTS albums and promotional activities. The agency further revealed that they, along with the BTS members, worked and consulted with the country’s best designing firms to make sure they get the right new brand identity. As of today, BTS will be associated with the new logos and the members have even expressed how excited they felt about the new logo on their official Twitter account.
In addition to the new logos, the said video from Big Hit Entertainment also revealed the newest slogan of the group. Leader Rap Monster audibly says “Beyond the Scene” at the end of the video, pointing out that this is another meaning to their group name. It has been clarified that BTS will still be called Bulletproof Boy Scouts, which is the literal translation of their South Korean group name, and will also be referred to as Beyond The Scene from now on. BTS will still go by their original South Korean name Bangtan Sonyeondan.
