BTS Rap Monster Sets Aside Dancing In Upcoming Concerts Because Of Injury
It has been revealed that BTS leader Rap Monster will be missing out on the group’s dance routines because of a recent minor injury. The group’s entertainment agency just released an official statement to address this matter.
On June 30, it was revealed that Kim Namjoon, who goes by the stage name Rap Monster, has been injured. The said Idol has reportedly injured the little toe on his right foot. The injury may be minor but the idol was taken to the emergency room to get his toe treated. Apparently, his toenail has been lifted after he hit his foot on the corner of a piece of furniture. The attending physician strictly instructed that Rap Monster must abstain from any activity that will give pain, strain, or any toll on his toe.
Big Hit Entertainment released an official statement regarding Rap Monster’s condition and revealed that the idol is currently recovering. The agency reassured fans that there are no other injuries and that Rap Monster’s health is in top condition. However, the agency has announced that they deem it fit and appropriate to leave out Rap Monster in the group’s choreography and dance routines in BTS’ upcoming concerts. This is also to adhere to the physician’s recommendation so that Rap Monster’s injury will heal as soon as possible.
Big Hit Entertainment has announced that Rap Monster will still be joining in the performances but will not be participating in the tedious choreographies at their Sapporo concerts. BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, is currently in the middle of their Japan Tour and there are only a couple of stops left, which will take place on July 1 and July 2. Big Hit Entertainment added that the rest of the members of BTS will be doing the choreography. The agency asked fans not to worry and assured them that the boys’ health comes first.
