BTS Rap Monster Emphasizes That Their Fans Made An Impact On Their Music
BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, as been heralded as one of the most influential people on the internet by TIME. The group’s leader, Rap Monster has gone on an interview to address how it is being part of the said list.
TIME recently released a new list that revealed the 25 people who are currently the most influential on the internet. Along with U.S. President Donald Trump, pop singer Katy Perry, and celebrity entrepreneur Kim Kardashian, Korean pop act BTS made it to the list. According to TIME, BTS took a spot on the list because they were able to surpass the records of singers Justin Bieber and Selenza Gomez in terms of popularity on the internet.
BTS leader Kim Namjoon, who goes by the popular stage name Rap Monster, was asked on how BTS was different from the other Korean pop groups. Rap Monster answered cleverly, saying that each K-pop group has a different approach so it is always hard to compare. However, he pointed out that BTS values hard work so they put their best in dancing better, making better songs based on life, doing tours, and becoming a better example. Rap Monster added that despite their popularity, the group has admitted that they are living a dream, which each member had pursued.
Rap Monster then went on to emphasize that the reason why BTS was able to go far and be where they are now is that of their huge fandom. The group has always been vocal about their fans and never failed to thank them and communicate with them. Rap Monster shared that he and the boys loved communicating with their fans through their social media accounts even though it is not easy to oversee an account for a long time. He said that their fans are an inspiration to them and their love is what keeps them going.
