‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 Cancellation News & Update: Dan Harmon, Justin Roiland Having Difficulties Writing Script; Will Series Temporarily Bid Goodbye?

Millions of fans are now excited for the premiere of the up and coming episodes of the "Rick and Morty" Season 3. Now, new reports are claiming that the show's creators are afraid that the show might be worse than the first and second seasons.

Blasting News reported that avid followers of the popular Adult Swim series got threatened when it was reported that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 might face cancellation. According to reports, both Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon are having a hard time finishing the script of the third installment.

True enough, Dan Harmon had finally confirmed that the main reason behind the handful delays of the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is because it is getting more difficult for them to write the plotline. Taking it to Twitter, the series' co-creator confessed that the he is overthinking about the storyline.

"But the truth in this case is so very boring. I will put it to you as objectively as I can, though we aren't talking about an auto plant," Dan Harmon wrote on Twitter. "The reason S3 took long is because it took long to write, because it was S3 of a show that we were scared to make worse than S2 or S1," the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 creator added on.

To recall, Korea Portal has previously reported that there have been reports saying that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is likely to be cancelled since Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon had been fighting frequently. Speaking to Indie Wire, Harmon stated that the creators' incapability of agreeing on things have hardly affected the show.

Because of this, fans cannot help but speculate there is a huge chance that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 might be cancelled any time soon. However, it was reported that the upcoming episodes of the third installment would be aired this summer.
