‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 Return Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Bird Person Joins Evil Morty, Pickle Rick; Creator Revealed Delay Reasons
The upcoming 13 new episodes of the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is reportedly going to be aired starting next month. However, before the much-awaited premiere, one of the scriptwriters of the popular animated series had divulged the things that fans should expect in the third installment.
Blasting News reported fans should prepare themselves as Adult Swim is offering a lot of exciting adventures in "Rick and Morty" Season 3. Ryan Ridley has divulged via Y Combinator Podcast that a number of much-loved characters are set to make a comeback in the third installment.
Aside from Pickle Rick and Evil Morty, Bird Person is the latest name added on the list of returning cast in "Rick and Morty" Season 3. According to Ryan Ridley, Bird Person will be bring a new name, Phoenix Person, and fans have yet to discover if he would be a friend or a foe.
While some characters were confirmed returning, some of them are also making an exit. Ryan Ridley stated that Mr. Meeseeks would not be present in the upcoming episodes of "Rick and Morty" Season 3.
"We'd want to explore a different aspect of it really. But that's one way to do it, right there, is to show what the inside of a Meeseeks box looks like," Ryan Ridley stated. "That would have been really cool," he went on saying.
Meanwhile, Korea Portal has previously reported that the creators of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 are currently fighting. Dan Harmon, in an interview with Indiewire, has revealed that he and Justin Roiland had been fighting so much, which caused the delay of the third installment.
Dan Harmon stated that he caused the several delays of the "Rick and Morty" Season 3. He added that it became harder for them to write the script of the third installment.
