EXO, SHINee Producer Ryan Jhun Names 9 Idols Who Would Make The Perfect Boy Group

Notable K-pop producer Ryan Jhun may not be a household name to most of you but he has produced some of the most iconic K-pop tracks of recent memory. Ryan Jhun was the person behind Red Velvet's 'Dumb Dumb', SHINee's 'Lucifer', Girls' Generation's 'You Think', and other EXO songs just to name a few. He is also the producer behind 'Produce 101 Season 2''s iconic theme song 'It's Me/Pick Me' and final top 20 songs 'Super Hot'. Ryan Jhun has worked with famous K-pop idols like EXO, Super Junior, SHINee, and f(x). After his notable work on 'Produce 101 Season 2', Ryan was asked of all the idols he has seen, who would he pick to be in an ideal K-pop group. The producer then made a list of male idols he thinks would make up the best imaginary boy group.

First up were EXO's Chanyeol, Kai and Suho. Ryan Jhun praised Chanyeol, saying "Chanyeol fills the stage even when he's by himself," while Ryan praised Kai for being one of the best dancer idols out there. Suho was commended for his personality, and was chosen to join the list as well. Next, Ryan picked NU'EST's Dongho, who participated in 'Produce 101 Season 2'. Ryan even assigned him as his ideal group's lead singer. Ryan Jhun's 5th choice was NCT's Mark.

Mark has been known to be active in all NCT sub-units - NCT Dream, NCT U, and NCT 127, which impressed fans. NCT's fellow SM colleagues SHINee also made the list - Minho, Onew and Taemin were mentioned as ideal members of the group as well. The producer's final pick was 'Produce 101 Season 2' finalist and Wanna One member Lee Daehwi. According to Ryan, Lee Daehwi surprised him with his many talents.
