'Attack On Titan' Season 3 Spoilers, Air Date: Wit Studio Confirms Season 3 For 2018 Release
"Attack on Titan" has been confirmed for Season 3. Wit Studio made the announcement during the airing of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 finale entitled "Scream."
As if the events of the "Attack on Titan" Season 2 finale was not exciting enough, Wit Studio confirmed that it is already working on the third season. But the good news does not end there as this time, fans need not wait for four years for the studio to come out with the third season, IGN reported.
It can be recalled that among the reasons cited for the delays in "Attack on Titan" Season 2 was the lack of material for Season 2. Another issue cited was the lack of funding to develop the second season which resulted in a shorter season 2.
With Studio has confirmed that "Attack on Titan" Season 3 will be released in 2018. However, the studio did not announce how many episodes will be included in the third season.
It can be recalled that after four years of waiting, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 only had 12 episodes, which was less than half of the original 25 episodes of the first season. It may be possible that the studio was working on another 25 season but decided to release the first half as the second season and the bottom half as a third installment. This could also be the reason why it is already confident that it will be able to release Season 3 in 2018.
This puts "Attack on Titan" in an even better shape than popular animes like "Tokyo Ghoul" which has no concrete release dates for its third season, or "One Punch Man" which is expected to release later this year. However, with no specific announcements from their studios, fans are relying on speculation and the gossip mill on what plotlines the anime series will cover, Korea Portal reported.
