Xbox One X Is the Most Powerful Console Ever Backed by A Plethora of Games
Microsoft has named the Xbox Project Scorpio as the new Xbox One X. The new console is a 4k ready Xbox One Successor which was announced at Microsoft's E3 conference this Sunday. The console will launch on the 7th of November 2017 and will retail at the price of $500.
According to Microsoft, Xbox One X is the most powerful gaming console ever. The company emphasized on the console's performance capabilities throughout the press conference and it was pretty obvious that Microsoft was trying to outshine the PS4 Pro.
The Xbox One X has received a Ram Boost and now sports a 12GB GDDR5 Ram which is capable of a memory bandwidth of 326 Mbps. This new bandwidth is comparable to NVidia's new GeForce GTX 1080. The Xbox One X has a new sporty vapor chamber cooling technology that helps keep the console cool during intense gaming sessions.
Microsoft markets the new console to gamers that do not own a 4k TV as well. The console uses a process called supersampling that helps the game render at a higher resolution. The game is then downscaled to fit the size of your monitor. This technique helps the console provide 4k quality on a non-4k monitor. Supersampling increases the graphics quality and even increases the amount of detail in your surroundings.
The Xbox One X is also the smallest Xbox ever which makes it rather appealing as it has become more portable and aesthetically more pleasing. Microsoft launched a plethora of games along with the new Xbox one X out of which 22 games are exclusive to the Xbox line of consoles. These games include much-awaited titles like Forza Motorsport 7, Metro: Exodus, Assassin's Creed: Origins, State of Decay 2, the Darwin Project and a lot more.
