Acer’s Predator XB1 G-Sync Monitor Gets Two New Models; Z35 Release Date Announced!
Acer's Predator XB1 G-Sync Monitor lineup will be getting two new models later this month, according to PC Gamer.
Acer has been trying to compete with Asus in terms of gaming monitors and has produced numerous models already as claimed by sources. The Predator XB1 monitor models aresaid to be the ones that would compare to the specs of Asus's new IPS monitor models.
The Predator XB271HU model is being sold at $799. It is said to have an IPS panel, a 27-inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1440, a refresh rate of 165Hz which is top-end. It has two 2W speakers and has a response time of 4ms. It has four USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and a DisplayPort version 1.2, according to The Guru of 3D.
The other model, Predator XB271HK is a 4k monitor. It has a rate of 60Hz and a 27 inch IPS panel. The other details of this model are almost identical to the Predator XB271HU model, according to tech sites. The two monitors are G-Sync enabled and also have Acer's GameView technology. This technology lets the owner switch between various customizable profiles, according to sources. It os being sold for $899.
In addition, the new XB1 Series monitors come with ergonomic stands which could be tilted. The stands can tilt from a -5 to 35 degree angle, according to Hexus. It can also swivel from +/- 30 degrees and can even pivot and height adjust up to 5.9 inches.
Users can also detach the panels easily from the stands should they want it to fit to alternative VESA mounts.
The Predator Z35 will be expensive, according to sources. This is due to the heavy specifications that will go along with it. Prices for the item start at $1,200 since it has specs like a curved VA panel with 35-inch display, a 2560x1080 resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz.
