Far Cry 5 : Official Announce Trailer | Ubisoft [US]

Recent reports are not boding well for "Far Cry 5." There are claims that the update would be a controversial one and it might spark issues for Ubisoft in the latter days.

According to Forbes, the first artwork for the game, which is set in "Hope County" Montana, just landed. Also, a teaser was released regarding the new update for "Far Cry 5." The artwork showcased a group of men and women sitting around a table similar to that of the Last Supper.

There's a bible, an American flag, a loaf of bread, a cup of wine, guns, and other weapons were seen in the tease for "Far Cry 5." All the men have long beards and either long, ragged hair or some form of shaved head and the woman is in what appears to be a wedding dress, the same post reported.

However, contrary to the reports, Bitbag relayed that the update might not be a controversial one after all. Ever since Ubisoft revealed the first "Far Cry 5" trailer, everything was in a buzz. It depicted an armed religious cult plundering an American countryside. Moreover, its controversial content spawned uncertainty for the fans and followers of the game.

It stands out that religion and fanaticism are definitely sensitive topics to tackle and "Far Cry 5's" villains seem to make it their main concept, the report added. With the update revealing a new concept, it is understandable why gamers would question it and its maker, Ubisoft.

The trailer also revealed the different scenarios and the struggles of the human race to stay alive. The storyline incorporated religion and other controversial concepts. As for the rumors regarding the "Far Cry 5" and its upcoming update, everything should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
