Call of Duty Black Ops III launch

'Call of Duty: World War II' hasn't received the expected popularity. The single-player campaign of the game, however, did manage to cover up for the mess that 'Infinite Warfare' made for it. Now several online reports have started suggesting that the game is expected to receive the biggest update in history.

According to a report published by Daily Star, 'Call of Duty: World War II' is expected to receive a new stage all together called 'Operation Cobra.' To recall, the game hasn't received any special level enhancement or additional missions ever since its launch took place. However, Sledgehammer (game developer behind 'Call of Duty: World War II) CEO Glen Schofield in a recent interview with Gamestop confirmed that the game is scheduled to receive a major update and that this update will be carrying 'Operation Cobra' as its next mission.

The interview session was reportedly attended by Sledgehammer CEO Glen Schofield along with his fellow co-founder Michael Condrey. Besides making this big announcement, the fellow producers also talked about the other missions that the gamers can look forward to apart from 'Operation Cobra.' Schofield was heard saying that gamers will be able to go places like Operation Cobra, which will be the largest aerial bombardment that gamers can ever imagine.

According to a report published by Bleeding Cool, 'World War II' and 'Operation Cobra' go back a long way. This holds of particular significance as the invasion, which took place at Normandy Beach on July 25th, 1944 was essentially designed in such a manner as to allow the allied troops to not only escape Germany but do so along with the safe-keeping of around 3,000 American aircraft. As unbelievable as this sounds, the soldiers were successful at it. Imagine having to gain a similar experience with 'Call of Duty: World War II.'
