A new MI 6 mobile phone is shown on the table in a MI store.

Xiaomi's latest smartphone flagship has been benchmarked on GFXBench which sources believe to be the Mi 6c. According to the info on GFXBench, it is codenamed, Xiaomi Jason. Several sources have revealed that it is none other than the Xiaomi Mi 6c. The higher-end version of Xiaomi Jason, Mi 6, recently unveiled in China.

GFXBench listing revealed that Xiaomi Jason is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm CPU (Snapdragon 660 chip) clocked at 2.2GHz and an Adreno 512 GPU. The upcoming device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Xiaomi’s own MiUI. It will have 6GB of RAM as well as 64GB of internal storage.

The Xiaomi Jason will feature a 5.1-inch FHD display, which is smaller compared to the original Redmi Pro with a 5.5-inch display. It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920. Camera wise, the latest Xiaomi handset will sport a 12MP rear camera with 4K video recording capability, face-detection autofocus, and HDR mode as well as a 4MP front-facing camera great for a selfie and video chats.

In connectivity, it will have NFC, Bluetooth, Wifi, and GPS. For the sensors, Xiaomi Jason features an accelerometer, barometer, compass, gyroscope, light sensor, pedometer, and proximity. There is no word about the battery capacity.

Based on the specifications on GFXBench, it appears that Xiaomi Mi 6c or Xiaomi Jason is going to be a powerful mid-range smartphone. The key difference between the flagship Mi 6 and the Mi 6c appears to be under the hood. Xiaomi Mi 6 was powered by Qualcomm's top-of-the-line Snapdragon 835 chipset. Another difference of the two Xiaomi’s handsets is the front-facing cameras. The Mi 6 comes with an 8MP selfie shooter than the 4MP selfie snapper of Mi 6c.

Apart from the leaked Xiaomi Jason, the Chinese smartphone maker is reportedly started working on the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. Both handsets are rumored to feature larger display compared to their predecessors.
