Brave Entertainment Takes Legal Action Against Haters Of ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ Contestant Kim Samuel

Brave Entertainment trainee and 'Produce 101 Season 2' contestant Kim Samuel has been the target of hate these days. The trainee initially received a lot of love and praise when the Mnet survival show began but these days, there has been an influx of malicious comments and verbal attacks online against the 16-year-old.

Not much is known behind the reason why there's been a lot of vitriol against Kim Samuel but it all started when rumors of his fans manipulating votes surfaced and circulating online. The Produce 101 Season 2 trainee has also been the subject of rumors about allegedly making sexual references, inflicting verbal abuse and bullying, just to name a few.

But Kim Samuel's label, Brave Entertainment, has had enough and announced that nasty commenters and rumormongers will be charged with cyber defamation and slander. The agency's statement said:

"Hello, this is Brave Entertainment. We are here to notify that we will be taking firm legal action by submitting a lawsuit for cyber defamation of character as well as a cyber offense against malicious commenters after determining that the degree and a number of false rumors, verbal abuse, and physical references with no basis have surpassed that manageable alone by a 16-year-old. Fans are currently collecting evidence of malicious comments and files through monitoring and reporting, and we plan on taking active measures through unforgiving legal action to ensure that no further offenses develop. Brave Entertainment will carry out the responsibility of being a guardian to Kim Samuel, who is still underage so that he will not be hurt by malicious content on the web. We ask that you provide Kim Samuel with your abundant love and encouragement. Thank you."

Fans of Kim Samuel applauded the company's solution, as false rumors could affect his standing and ranking on Produce 101 Season 2. In the past episodes, Kim Samuel has been notably falling behind despite being one of the more popular contestants. Fans believe it was the result of the rumors about him going around, and they fear that it might ruin his chances of debuting with the top 11.
