'Supernatural' Season 13 Spoilers: Castiel Confirmed To Return; Apocalypse World Bobby To Become Series Regular?

Fans were warned that "Supernatural" Season 12 finale would be full of casualties but loyal viewers of the show were not quite prepared to see the angel Castiel take an angel blade and die. Since his arrival in the long-running The CW show, Misha Collins' character has been a fan favorite one and being an adopted member of the Winchester household only served to endear him more to the fans.

However, it seems that fans don't have to wonder too much about how the show would function without Castiel as Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam Winchester in the series, accidentally slipped up that Cas will still be part of "Supernatural" Season 13. While discussing the much awaited Scooby Doo crossover episode for the season, Padalecki mentioned that he, Jensen Ackles and Micha Collins already did part of the dubbing for the animated episode, BuddyTV reported.

Padalecki tried to recover from his mistake but fans of the show understand that nothing is impossible in the series and believed that Cas could return for "Supernatural" Season 13 much like Dean returned from hell (and purgatory) and Sam returned from the box when both characters died in previous seasons. Padalecki didn't need to feel too bad because Collins confirmed his character's return for the upcoming season.

However, Collins warned that fans should not simply rejoice the angel's return since it may come at a cost. "I think we will see Cas again, but the question is, what [does] this death [do] to him?" Collins asked about Cas' return for "Supernatural" Season 13.

Cas may not be the only character who comes back for "Supernatural" Season 13. It is speculated that since fans were introduced to an alternate version of Bobby in the final episodes, the Winchesters could find an ally in this alternative version of their surrogate father. It can be recalled that Bobby, played by Jim Beaver, was killed off in Season 7 and only appeared on the show once in a while as a guest.
