‘Descendants Of The Sun’ Star Song Hye Kyo, Park Hyung Sik, Girls Generation’s Sooyoung Donate Personal Items For Charity Event

A charity bazaar organized to raise funds to support striving women in South Korea's filmmaking industry was participated in by many of the country's top celebrities and Kpop idols. Some of the stars who donated their personal items for the said event included the "Descendants of the Sun" actress Song Hye, Kyo, Park Hyung Sik and more.

Attendees of the 2017 "Family Flea Market" event recently had the chance to acquire some of the personal items that belonged to famous stars and musicians. Many of South Korea's celebrities donated fashion items such as jackets, shirts, accessories, bags, sunglasses and make-up products, as well as movie posters, DVD sets, and others. The "Descendants of the Sun" star Song Hye Kyo was one of the big-hearted actresses who supported the said activity, according to an announcement from the Women in Film of Korea, as obtained by Soompi.

Apart from Song Hye Kyo, the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actor Park Hyung Sik also participated in the event. The "Chicago Typewriter" co-stars Yoo Ah In and Go Kyung Pyo also donated their personal items, as well as Baek Jong Won, So Yoo Jin, "Cinderella and Four Knights" actor Jung Il Woo and "Ghost" star Lee Yeon Hee. On the Kpop side, Girls Generation's Sooyoung along with Red Velvet's Seulgi gave up some of their personal belongings including TVXQ's Yunho, EXO's D.O., Baekhyun, Kai, Xiumin, Sehun, SHINee's Key and "Hwarang" star Minho.

Meanwhile, proceeds from the "Family Flea Market" will be used to assist in the advancement of women in the film industry. Held on May 6, Saturday, the charity bazaar saw many avid fans flocking to South Korea's Paju to join the said fund-raising event.

In other news, Song Hye Kyo recently displayed her casual hotel style on social media. The "Descendants of the Sun" actress took to Instagram to share a photo of herself lounging on a comfortable seat while inside a Hong Kong hotel, Korea Herald reported. Wearing white pants and a white long-sleeved top, the Hallyu star looked relaxed as she sat cross-legged on the chair.

Song Hye Kyo has taken a quick break from the limelight but kept herself busy with photo shoots and completing promotional events. Recently, the actress traveled to Hong Kong to attend the 2017 Summer Collection Opening Night Party for the fashion brand Esprit.
