Excitement is mounting for the upcoming world tour of BIG BANG leader G-Dragon as he takes on the solo stage. What started as a single solo concert quickly blew up to become one of the biggest concert tours in the world.
Here's everything Korea Portal has gathered about G-Dragon's upcoming concert tour. Check out the tour schedule as your city may be one of the stops of this epic event.
Act III: MOTTE. The World Tour will kick off at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on June 10. G-Dragon will take the show to 19 cities all over the world in a series of performances that will end this September.
Act III: MOTTE Seoul Leg was sold out in 8 minutes. As soon as the tickets became available for purchase, all 65,000 tickets for the Seoul leg of G-Dragon's solo concert sold out with fans asking YG to schedule additional concert. G-Dragon's solo album is expected to release before the concert.
G-Dragon will perform in 19 cities. Billboard reported that Act III: MOTTE will be in 19 cities and some cities will have two shows. Apart from the kick off in Seoul, the show will happen in Macau (June 17), Singapore (June 24 and 25), Bangkok (July 7 and 8), Seattle (July 11), San Jose (July 14), Los Angeles (July 16), Houston (July 19), Chicago (July 21), Miami (July 25), New York (July 27), Toronto (July 30), Sydney (August 5), Brisbane (August 8), Melbourne (August 12) and Auckland (August 16), Fukuoka (August 19), Osaka (August 22 and 23) and Tokyo (September 19-20).
Act III: MOTTE will be G-Dragon's third major concert. This will be G-Dragon's return to the solo stage after the success of "Shine a Light" concert for his "Heartbreaker" album in 2009 and the "One of a Kind" world tour before he released his album "Coup d'Etat" in 2013.
This will be G-Dragon's last concert before enlisting. The BIG BANG leader is expected to receive his formal enlistment date this year and this may be the last time fans see him in action until he returns to the scene after his mandatory enlistment, Korea Portal reported.
