'One Punch Man' Season 2 Air Date, News: 'One Punch Man 2' To Air On NOvember 2017? New Villain To Be Introduced
Fans of "One Punch Man" have been eagerly anticipating the release of "One Punch Man" Season 2 but despite the updates, there has been no concrete release date released by the studio yet. But now, rumors are rife online Saitama may make his comeback on November 11.
According to a report by Mangum Star News, the first season of "One Punch Man" was released in December 2015 but there is a strong possibility that "One Punch Man" Season 2 will be released earlier than December 2017 because of the DVD for Season 1 has already been released. It further cited the progress of production in its estimated November 2017 release date.
A report by Konbini hinted that new villains may be introduced in "One Punch Man" Season 2 will be introducing new villains to go up against Saitama, the hero who can destroy his opponents with a single punch. The report indicated that King, seventh member of the S-class fighters will be the upcoming season's new villain.
There are also reports that Bang's disciple Garou will be the main villain in "One Punch Man" Season 2 since he is the only one who has the ability to withstand Saitama's punches. Rumors are rife that Saitama will be defeated for the first time this season but it is still unknown if it will be by the hands of Garou.
Some fans of the "One Punch Man" franchise remain skeptical about Garou's abilities and said that Garou is not strong enough to fight at Saitama's level. They cited that Garou is weaker than Lord Boros whom Saitama defeated last season. Lord Boros is also expected to make his return in "One Punch Man" Season 2 to take his revenge on the powerful hero, armed with reinforcements, Korea Portal reported.
Saitama is also expected to face off with the 17 member Monsters Association, which is the evil counterpart of the Hero Association. No official announcement has yet been made about "One Punch Man" Season 2 but it recently released its image song, further drumming up excitement for the anime.
