Pokemon GO Fans Converge At Sydney Opera House

Niantic CEO John Hanke teased some details about Legendary Pokemon during a recent lecture which was shared by a Redditor. Fans of Pokemon will be glad to know that developers are working hard at making sure that these rare Pokemon meets their expectations.

Hanke was quoted by Redditor MichaelTheCactus as saying that their developers are taking great care with Legendary Pokemon because they are harder to code compared to other Pokemon. This is why the studio will have to implement limitations on Pokemon like Smeargle and Delibird because of their unique movements.

Hanke confirmed that there will be new mechanics and limitations for the use of Legendary Pokemon but this has been expected by players from the start. He said that his team wants to deliver the best experience to players and expressed excitement over the 1v1 trainer battles that will be made available soon.

In related news, Niantic and the Pokemon Company are also cracking down on scanning websites who were found to have been using bot PCs to provide their services. According to a report by Pokemon Go Hub, the Pokemon Company has served to cease and desist order against violators which include apps like Pokésearch and PokéSensor.

Niantic is reportedly working closely with the Pokemon Company in shutting down the operation of apps found to be using Pokemon Trainer Club accounts improperly. It can be recalled that Niantic posted on several platforms a warning to players against the use of third party apps like Pokemon trackers, Mass Evolution Helpers and IV Checkers which uses the players PTC or Google account for scanning.

"We have detected activity in your account that suggests you or someone using your account is using modified client software or unauthorized party software which accesses Pokemon GO in violation of our terms of service," Niantic's warning read. The message further warned that the continued use of such apps may result in the termination of one's account.
