E3 Gaming And Technology Conference Begins In L.A.

Nintendo's first smartphone game has finally been announced by the gaming company and it is called "Miitomo". This will be a free-to-play game, according to Kotaku.

A few weeks ago, Nintendo announced that they were making a new mobile game and they were in collaboration with a major mobile gaming company. There were no details of what the game will be and what kind of genre it would be.

The company needs more time to promote the mobile debut, according to Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima. Kimishima was a speaker at an investor meeting being live-blogged by the Wall Street Journal, according to Tech Crunch.

The proposed mobile game will have user-created avatars that can communicate and connect with others. The game will be a free-to-download mobile game with some optional add-ons. These add-ons are available via in-app purchases.

The new mobile game is meant to make people connect more with friends and let them have conversations that can't be brought up on their own, according to Wired.

"You might dig up some previously-buried topics of conversation, learn about a surprising side of your friend you've never seen before, find things you never knew you had in common," Kimishima said.

The new CEO also said that there is a new Nintendo's new online customer account system. The system will be called Nintendo Account. This system will allow gamers to transfer data between mobile and home games, according to sources.

There is also a replacement for the Club Nintendo service and it is called My Nintendo. It is much the same as the old one which lets gamers earn points through buying and playing games. These points will be used to purchase digital game content like in-game items, wallpapers, and many more.

Nintendo's first smartphone game is planned to be launched on March 2016, according to sources.
