"Divinity: Original Sin" Enhanced Edition has been released today. The game can be played on the PC via Steam, PS4, and the Xbox One, according to Venture Beat.

The original game has been in the Steam store for a while now and was given great reviews. Larian Studios and Maximum Games, game developer and publisher had plans to make an enhanced edition of the game and wanted it ported to the recent generation consoles.

The enhanced version of the game did not just get a patch, but it also got better content for all platforms, according to sources. The problem is only PC gamers will be able to appreciate the bonus content of the enhanced version. For the console version, the content is not that accessible or pleasant.

The update of the enhanced edition gets updated graphics, sounds, and visual effects, according to MoarGeek. The developers have even released a document that has all of the changes.

The players will have their own UI even in split-screen mode. There are also three new difficulty modes and other new features that many RPG fans would like, according to sources. Some key features included are the extended and enhanced version of the game's world, local split-screen or online for multiplayer co-op gameplay, a new 360 degree camera, and many more.

PC owners who bought the original version of "Divinity: Original Sin" on Steam and GoG will have an update for the game and it will all be for free. The game will appear as a separate game in their game library. The hard part is the original saves will not carry over to "Divinity: Original Sin" Enhanced Edition, according to Kotaku Australia. For console owners, they can purchase the game for $77.95.
