‘Overwatch’ Closed Beta Test Officially Begins; Fake Keys Imminent As Blizzard Warns Users!

The "Overwatch" closed beta test has now started. This will be a testing period to let fans try out the first features developed by the game developer, according to Gamespot.

The game has been teased a while back in the past with different features and characters. There were also gameplay videos uploaded to showcase what this online first person shooter could do.

"Overwatch" will the first new Blizzard franchise in 17 years. Blizzard is not sending out email invitations though, but you might be flagged through your Battle.net account soon, according to sources. The flagging process is done in batches and this could take up many hours to finish up.

The number of the closed beta participants will be starting few in numbers. There are also the Beta Test Weekends where it might lead to additional invites, according to Shack News. If you have signed up, but you have not seen any invites in your emails, then you might get one the next day.

For those who were invited to the closed beta test, you should read on the feedbacks on the Battle.net forums. For the technical issue reports then you should go to the beta tech support forums. For bug problems, then you should report to the beta bug report forums, according to GameZone.

The closed beta period will end before the end of 2015. There is no news when the final date of the period yet.

The "Overwatch" closed beta is also prone to scams. Blizzard warns gamers who want to try out the game that there are scams appearing. The game does not have "keys", according PC Gamer. False beta keys have been appearing since the game launched. There have been reports that there are several sites and one social media page that promises to give the keys. The game company strongly warns gamers to avoid these scams.
