Only a Few Smartphones will be getting the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update

Microsoft mentioned that they will be rolling out Windows 10 Creators updates for PC. In addition, few smartphones will be getting the said update as well. By few, it means that only 13 handsets will be provided with the update. The list of the smartphones are the following: Microsoft Lumia 650, Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL, Alcatel Idol 4S and OneTouch Fierce XL, Softbank 503LV, Vaio Phone Biz, HP Elite x3, Microsoft Lumia 550, Microsoft Lumia 640 and 640 XL, MouseComputer MADOSMA Q601, Trinity NuAns NEO, based on the release note from Windows.

Other devices that were not mentioned will not be supported and will not receive any future builds, the release note from Windows mentioned. In addition, users of devices that were not on the list can still keep them on the Windows 10 Creators Update but they should know that is unsupported and use at their own risk.

Changes to the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16176 for PC

First, the Narrator works on this build while the issue causing some apps and games to crash is fixed. Second, fixes are patched on Start menu, Action center, and Clock and Calendar flyout. Third, other fixes are applied to the previous Windows 10 Insider build 16170.

As for mobile, minor yet important fixes are applied as well and this includes the keyboard fix. This issue is about the keyboard not appearing on the text input field when selected in Microsoft Edge. On the other hand, a new privacy page is added to Windows 10 Mobile OOBE.

According to Gadgets, the Windows 10 Creators Update for PC brings the previous version with a few enhancements here and there. Additional features are also added such as Night Mode, better Cortana and Edge browser, and more. Microsoft's goal is to roll out a Windows 10 update so computers will start running on the latest operating system.
