IU Comeback News: IU To Feature G-Dragon On Title Track 'Palette' And Kim Soo Hyun In 'Ending Scene' MV
IU's comeback album "Palette" is already highly anticipated as it is but the release of her complete track list has amped up anticipation for her album even more. The track list indicated collaborations with Hyukoh's Oh Hyuk and BIG BANG leader G-Dragon.
According to a report by Hype, the collaboration with G-Dragon may have been kept a secret until the last minute as part of IU's surprise for her fans. G-Dragon is also working on his solo album and is preparing for his own solo concert at a sold out Seoul World Cup Stadium this June 10.
G-Dragon will be the featured artist in IU's title track "Palette". But more than providing the vocals for the track, fans of both IU and G-Dragon will be happy to know that the BIG BANG leader also wrote the lyrics for the rap section of the song.
IU has previously worked with another BIG BANG member in 2011 when she collaborated with BIG BANG maknae Seungri for the track "I Know." The song was featured on IU's first solo album.
Aside from G-Dragon's Palette track, IU's fans are also excited to hear her collaboration with Hyukoh leader Oh Hyuk. Upon learning of the collaboration, the fans were already anticipating how indie rock group Hyukoh's sound will match with IU's pure vocals.
IU will also be featuring her "Dream High" co star and good friend Kim Soo Hyun in the music video for her song "Ending Scene." IU has recently released he teaser for the MV.
According to Kim Soo Hyun's management Leon Entertainment, the actor's decision to star in the video was because of his strong friendship with IU. The two actors have maintained a strong friendship and have continued to support each other's projects. The music video will release on April 21, according to Soompi.
