‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ Actor Park Hyung Sik Sings Track For Drama’s Soundtrack
Park Hyung Sik's popularity continues to rise given the ZE:A singer's first lead role project in the drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon." Recently, the Kpop idol's participation in the said JTBC series' soundtrack was confirmed.
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" has amassed a loyal following since the JTBC drama aired its first episode in late February. With steady TV ratings that ranged from 7 percent to nearly 10 percent, the cable channel drama was also beloved by avid fans given the onscreen chemistry between Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young.
Many fans applauded Park Hyung Sik's portrayal of his character Min Hyuk, a gaming CEO who became a romantic young man after he fell in love with Park Bo Young's titular character Bong Soon. The Kpop idol is set to further delight "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" viewers when his song for the drama's soundtrack is released.
Park Hyung Sik's participation in the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" OST has been a highly-speculated project. However, a source from the JTBC drama told recently Korean news outlet News1 that the ZE:A singer already completed recording activities for the said track.
The title of the Kpop idol's "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" song was not disclosed. However, a small portion of Park Hyung Sik's track was played towards the end of the JTBC drama's episode 13 that aired on April 7, Friday. Avid fans can look forward to the said song's official release ahead of the series' final broadcast week.
In other news, IMFACT's Leesang recently made his first acting performance on Park Hyung Sik's JTBC romantic comedy series. Leesang made a cameo appearance in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episode 13 as one of the security guards posted on Min Hyuk's lobby. A representative from the IMFACT singer's agency, Star Empire, told reporters that although the singer's role was small Leesang was still thankful for the acting opportunity, OSEN quoted the representative as saying.
