‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ Latest Photo Still Teases Bong Soon’s Fight With Kidnapper, Rescue Mission Goes Awry?
Avid viewers of the JTBC drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" can expect to see a tense encounter between the series' villain and the Herculean heroine. Recently released photo stills unveiled Bong Soon's (Park Bo Young) attempt to save her kidnapped friend Kyung Shim (Park Bom Mi) and an interesting image that teased of something bad happening to the drama's female protagonist.
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episode 12 featured a suspenseful ending where Bong Soon rushed over to Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik) asking for help since Jang Hyun (Jang Mi Kwan) abducted Kyung Shim. Threatening to harm Bong Soon's friend, the villain warned the said protagonist not to alert the police and to come to his lair.
The situation might push the drama's heroine to go on a solo mission to rescue Kyung Shim in the upcoming episodes of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon." In one of the photo stills released by JTBC, as obtained by Korean news outlet Joins, Bong Soon had her left arm around a tied-up Kyung Shim while her right arm tried to stop a descending freight lift from crashing down on them.
Given Bong Soon's superhuman strength, coupled with some of the fight training that she received from Min Hyuk, some fans might speculate that she will be able to fend off the kidnapper's attack. However, one of the photos from the upcoming "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episode showed the Herculean protagonist with a surprised expression on her face as she grasped the barrel of a gun placed directly on her chest.
At this time, it is still unclear if Jang Hyun found a way to rid Bong Soon of her powers or if he simply took her by surprise. The villain might have come up with a plan to remove her super strength given how he accidentally discovered her weakness in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episode 12.
In other news, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" registered steady TV ratings with viewership shares increasing every week. During the weekend of March 24, the JTBC drama's episodes 9 and 10 posted ratings of 7.423 percent and 9.668 percent across the South Korean nation, according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by Soompi.
However, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episodes 11 and 12 showed a dip in viewership shares. Aired on March 31 and April 1, episode 11 reached ratings of 7.772 percent while episode 12 registered 8.477 percent. With the decrease in ratings and the drama's impending finale, it is unsure if the JTBC drama will be able to break through the 10 percent viewership mark.
