‘Suicide Squad’ Cast Jared Leto Release Statement About The Joker; Says He Dove Deep!
Jared Leto discusses his take on the Joker in "Suicide Squad," and new teaser images of the character have been revealed in full color. The images are taken from a famous magazine, according to Gamespot.
A few months ago, there were only rumors of what the Joker would really look like in the "Suicide Squad" movie. There were some leaks of photos from the set and also there was a trailer that showed Jared Leto as the Joker but it did not show more details.
This time around, there are now photos of Leto's take on the Joker. The photos were released via Empire magazine. There are three photos of Joker to see, but there are also other photos of the other characters in the movie like Margot Robbie as the Harley Quinn and Cara Delevingne as the Enchantress, according to SlashFilm.
There is a shot of Robbie as Harleen Quinzel, talking with the Leto as the Joker in a straightjacket. The cover of the magazine also shows how the Joker would really look like with his coat and cane along.
The look of "Suicide Squad's" Joker was inspired by Mexican cartels, according to producer Charles Roven. Leto is also in-character with the Joker to bring him to life as close as possible.
"There was definitely a period of...detachment. I took a pretty deep dive," Leto said to Empire magazine. "But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn't imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games."
This "Suicide Squad" news also continues that Leto described how it was as the Joker on the negative side. He said it was very painful at the same time like he was "giving birth out of his prick hole," according to Den of Geek.
