Samsung Galaxy S8 News & Update Launch Delayed; Is It Because of The New Nokia Flagship?
After Google Pixel 2 being pulled down by faults, Samsung Galaxy S8 is the latest android to delay its launch. Apparently, Samsung is in no mood to take any risks after the disaster that it faced with the launch of S7.
With the Nokia flagship model giving tough competition, Samsung is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the S8 comes out as the next big thing in the league. Originally Samsung Galaxy S8 was scheduled for a grand launch on April 21.
The makers had also announced a small pre-booking window that would open on April 10. However, Samsung is likely to push this date by at least one week. While Samsung has not clarified the exact reason for the delay, rumors indicate that it could be due to the problems in inventory.
There is a possibility that Samsung may address these problems and end up sticking to its original timetable. But till then, fans will have to wait.
Big changes on the way!
Another possible reason for the delay in Samsung Galaxy range could be the big changes that the makers are working on. The report on Forbes indicates that Samsung is working on introducing a series of new features like the Home button.
Many of these features are first-time additions to the Galaxy range. This could be one reason why the brand may want to be extremely thorough with its testing and development even if it comes at the cost of a delay.
Other features include the use of the pause button making it possible to confirm the external details of the phone. Additionally, users will look forward to a secondary microphone and the SIM card tray which may also carry the slot for microSD card that will manage the additional storage.
Charging will be managed through a USB-C port in the new Samsung Galaxy device. Users will also get a 3.5mm headphone jack for a wired audio connection.
