BTS’ Jimin And Red Velvet’s Seulgi Reveal Proof That They’re Secretly Dating
BTS' Jimin and Red Velvet's Seulgi stir up a social media frenzy as netizens find more proof that the two idols are secretly dating. Their dating rumors first erupted last month when netizens caught them waving to each other at a 2016 year-end awards ceremony. Now netizens have found even more clues to further back up their suspicion.
According to allkpop, netizens noticed that BTS' Jimin and Red Velvet's Seulgi share strikingly similar or matching social media posts. Seulgi posted a winking selfie on Instagram and wrote, "Don't you think I'm good at winking now?" just as Jimin took to Twitter to post, "I closed both of my eyes because I can't wink." The two singing idols even posted more photos with similar winks, poses, filters and even outfits.
They were even spotted outside wearing the same black turtleneck underneath a black leather jacket and jeans reportedly on the same day. Netizens suspected that the rumored lovers even take to social media to secretly express their affection for each other. In one instance, the 23-year-old Red Velvet member shared a photo of herself enjoying a sticky corn while the 21-year-old BTS member also posted a photo of a corn and captioned it with a heart.
This made netizens wonder whether Jimin meant the heart for the corn or for Seulgi. In another post, Jimin chose a bear which so happened to be named after Seulgi's nickname and drew a heart at the back of its head as well as his name on its back. Netizens also believe that the matching bracelets they were spotted wearing are their "couple bracelets."
The dating rumors started only last month when netizens spotted Red Velvet's Seulgi waving at BTS' Jimin at an awards ceremony that took place last year. Jimin didn't wave back at Seulgi but she had already turned away and did not look back even as Jimin kept his hand up for her to notice. Netizens have also used social media clues to determine whether idols are secretly dating. Such were the case with G-Dragon and Sandara Park as well as Ha Ji Won and Chen Bolin.
