Emma Watson Defends her Topless Vanity Fair Photo Shoot in the Most Ironical Way

Emma Watson fires back at the critics who raised a question of her feminism by posting nude for the Vanity Fair photo shoot. The "Beauty and the Beast" actress pointed towards the controversy in an interview and described that "reveals to me how many misconceptions and what a misunderstanding there is about what feminism is." Recently, Emma was trolled by the critics for exposing her breasts partially.

She shared her thoughts about feminism by saying that Feminism is not a stick with which you can beat other women. It is all about freedom, about liberation and about equality. It is about giving other women a choice. Emma Watson is also holding the title of United Nations Women goodwill ambassador. She even exclaimed that she was previously threatened for speaking about gender equality.

Emma Watson who launched the UN"s HeForShe campaign in 2014 struggled to enlist a billion men and young boys for the movement of gender equality. She even acknowledged that many of them are confused by what it means to be a feminist.

Emma Watson grabbed huge controversy after posing nude for the Vanity Fair Cover. The photograph was shot by Tim Walker in which Watson was wearing a white Burberry shawl draped over her shoulders. The photograph raised huge controversy and even received critical comments from British radio host and many mothers.

Comments like 'Feminism, feminism... gender wage gap... why oh why am I not taken seriously, and 'Watson was sending the message that women have to take off their tops to promote a movie.' Besides a mother even expressed that the mothers have been hyper-aware of every instance of every sexualized image of women, it becomes extremely harder to teach them about feminism and treating people equally.
