Park Hyung Sik, Park Bo Young Starrer ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ Continues To Post Strong Ratings

TV ratings of the new drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" continued its upward climb given its interesting storyline coupled with the amazing on-screen chemistry of lead stars Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young. The JTBC series' nationwide viewership shares even crossed over the 6 percent level.

"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episode 3 posted TV ratings of 6.08 percent across the South Korean nation, according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by Soompi. Aired on March 3, the said episode also reached viewership shares of 7 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area.

The said ratings represented a 0.3 percent and 1 percent increase in nationwide viewership shares and across Seoul, respectively. Compared to the previous episode, Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young's drama posted nationwide TV ratings of 5.7 percent and 6 percent in various areas around Seoul.

In the TV rating race among competitor programs in the same broadcast schedule, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" nabbed the third spot with SBS' "My Ugly Duckling" at first place with viewership shares of 13 percent. Meanwhile, the MBC variety program "I Live Alone" landed at second place while KBS' "Sister Slam Dunk" Season 2 came in at fourth place with TV ratings of 6.2 percent and 3.2 percent, respectively.

In other news, viewers can expect to see some heart-fluttering moments between the lead characters in upcoming episodes of the JTBC drama. Recently released photo stills, as obtained by Korean news outlet TV Report, showed Park Hyung Sik's character Min Hyuk observing Park Bo Young's titular character Bong Soon closely while she tended his arm after he was injured from a surprise attack.

A source from the JTBC drama also told the same news outlet that Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young's synergy on-set were commendable. Moreover, the said source even gushed over the two stars' chemistry together.
