Song Joong Ki To Star In Park Hae Jin’s Drama ‘Man to Man’ In Special Cameo Role
Song Joong Ki will soon appear on the small screens specifically in the upcoming JTBC drama titled "Man to Man." Recently, the "Descendants of the Sun" actor completed filming activities for his special cameo role in Park Hae Jin's new drama.
Song Joong Ki was recently photographed on the set of the upcoming JTBC action suspense drama "Man to Man," Korea Herald reported. Images unveiled from the said filming site showed the "Descendants of the Sun" star in a business suit as he completed the scenes for his cameo role.
At this time, it is unclear whether Song Joong Ki's special role in "Man to Man" is a businessman or a banker. Most of the scenes shot during the said day were filmed inside a local bank at South Korea's Ilsan area, as indicated in the same report.
"Man to Man" tells the story of the special intelligence agent Seol Woo (Park Hae Jin) whose secret mission requires him to protect the Hallyu star Woon Gwang (Park Sung Woong). However, Seol Woo's bodyguard mission will become his most challenging job given the various dangers and unique situations that he and Woon Gwang will encounter.
Similar to Song Joong Ki's hit drama "Descendants of the Sun," episodes of the upcoming JTBC drama were pre-filmed. Production and filming activities have been ongoing since late 2016 and is slated to end on March 6, Monday.
In other news, Song Joong Ki has been busy attending some of the fan events for his celebrity friend Park Bo Gum's Asian fan meeting tour, as well as completing commercial shoots. The actor also finished filming activities for the upcoming new movie "Battleship Island" with So Ji Sub, Hwang Jung Min and other celebrities.
Recently, the "Innocent Man" star was named one of Forbes Korea's Power Celebrities for the year. Song Joong Ki nabbed the second spot on Forbes Korea's Top 40 list, Soompi reported.
Song Joong Ki's new movie "Battleship Island" is expected to hit South Korean movie theaters in summer. Meanwhile, Park Hae Jin's upcoming JTBC drama "Man to Man" will premiere on April 21, Friday.
